This is the painting for my grandmother, which I finished three weeks ago. I kept meaning to post it, then kept forgetting. XD

Well . . . here it is. I painted her an aurora specifically because she remembers seeing it when she was very young. I used to draw beach scenes for her all the time, and I didn't want it to become sort of a routine. I try to give people a little more of a variety of pictures.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this one . . . without the trees it looked abstract, and I knew that wasn't what I was going for. After I addded the trees I was content.

So . . . not much to say, except auroras are awesome and I hope to see one myself one day.
