Primary Asteroid Collision

I hit a snag with this project for a couple weeks. I had originally planned on drawing the Northern Lights to complete the series, but the drawing was NOT AT ALL what I wanted. It didn't look beautiful like the Northern Lights should.

So... I went with another natural disaster, one that's arguably the most destructive (although the Yellowstone volcano has probably about the same chance of initiating a mass extinction). It was so hard to find an image of a collision as seen from Earth, and not looking AT Earth from space.

So yeah... I don't think this one is as strong as the others, but considering the art block I was having and how hard it was for me to actually get motivated to work on it... I'm content.

It's called Primary Asteroid Collision because the other three drawings featured secondary colors. So for this one, I went with the three primary colors (of pigment).

So yeah... I'm done with that series. I have a few more projects in mind, and I'll get started on them tomorrow :3
